Toni Collette was an Australian actress born in Sydney. Her career began with Muriel's Wedding, a comedy-drama made in 1994. Then she gained more fame through the crime thriller The Sixth Sense. Her entire life was spent living in Falls Church. She has always been interested in acting and performing arts began at a young age, studying dance art through the Washington School of Ballet. She initially had great success when it came to dancing, being a part of numerous school productions. While in the high school years, she was a part of in the school's entire musicals and that's when she made the switch from dancing to acting. She also received her Equity card while performing in an annual summer stock production of Aida. After graduation, Louisa enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University. There she studied drama. The father of her Robert Henry Krause had half Japanese origins. Nathaniel Krause, her younger brother who works as a director for an organization that produces films, is filmmaker. She is able to spend a great deal of time with her family and friends, taking them to barbecues, vacations and even camping. She loves her brother so much that she's bought the house he's been wanting near her to make it easier to visit.
