Anya Volz was born in Vermont and now lives in New York City. She has received praise from males across America for her funny comics that aren't preachy. She is the writer and creator of material to Riot Fest: The Hard Times as well as Macaulay's Bunny Ears. Her appearances have been featured in BuzzFeed, Vulture, and in national festivals like The Women in Comedy Festival in New York as well as the New York Comedy Festival. The podcast she hosts Best Mistakes is a podcast focused on making mistakes. The podcast is co-hosted by Brooklyn comedian Nika Lombazzo. The show she co-hosted and produced was Our Time of the Week at The Stand Comedy Club main room as well as the weekly show Thirst Trap With Anya Volz which was held in legendary venues such as Union Hall Caveat and House of YES and was written up on The New York Times and Time Out New York. Taylor-Joy was 16 years old, left the school to pursue her acting career. Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish and English roots. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children, four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. They were originally from Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria in the year she turned aged six. According to Taylor-Joy, this move was traumatic and she refused to master English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after she left Northlands. Then she went to Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in plays. Then she dropped out of the high school aged 16 to pursue an acting profession. Taylor-Joy's dream to be an actress professionally began at a very young age.
